Dr. Brandt is a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Certified Otolaryngologist – Head and Neck Surgeon with advanced sub-specialty fellowship training in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and one of a handful of Board-Certified Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons in Canada.

Dr. Brandt’s goal is to provide his patients with the best possible care. Your trust is Dr. Brandt’s priority and he will always provide you with real advice. He is pragmatic in his approach – ensuring he only offers quality treatments that you will benefit from. If you are not a good candidate for a particular treatment, Dr. Brandt will tell you so. Dr. Brandt has many national and international colleagues across a variety of specialities including Facial Plastic Surgery, Occuloplastic Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Dermatology. If Dr. Brandt doesn’t offer a particular treatment that he thinks you’ll benefit from, he’ll gladly direct you to a trusted colleague that he knows will take great care of you.
Dr. Brandt is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Department of Otolaryngology at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto.

Dr. Brandt's Education
Dr. Michael Brandt began his academic career at York University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, where he completed his Bachelor of Science with Specialized Honours, graduating at the top of his class. He then pursued his medical degree at Western University’s Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry in London, Ontario, Canada.
While attending medical school, Dr. Michael Brandt found himself intrigued by the intricate anatomy of the head and neck, and the meticulous surgical skills needed to operate in this critical area. This fascination led him to pursue a residency in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at Western University. It was during his residency that Dr. Brandt was first introduced to the subspecialty of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. For him, it was an immediate and profound connection, sparking a passion that would shape his career path.
Following his residency, Dr. Brandt was accepted into the prestigious fellowship program in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA. There, he trained under the world-renowned Dr. Shan Baker, the surgeon who literally wrote the textbook on reconstructive facial plastic surgery.
Continuing his educational pursuits, Dr. Brandt completed a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences at Western University. He is currently furthering his education in the business domain by undertaking an Executive MBA at the Quantic School of Business and Technology.
